Brian,
I want to thank your team for the wonderful renovation just completed on our kitchen. We can’t say enough about all the hard work that Scott, James (Jimbo), Brian, Travis, Matt did to turn an early 80’s dated country kitchen into an updated and functional modern workspace.
After contacting your company, Scott called within a few hours to discuss our new kitchen. He scheduled to come to the house and meet with my fiancé and I a couple of days later. Scott and James came to the house and looked at the dated floor plan and then asked what was ‘our vision’? We had already thought out ‘our vision’ prior to their visit. ‘Our vision’ was developed about two and a half years earlier, but thanks to COVID and rising lumber costs that vision was shelved. Scott and James listened to our ideas and even gave needed advice/feedback and changes that would better fit the overall project.
The time that Scott and James were at our house made us feel at ease, like we had known them for years. That feeling of being comfortable with them and exchanging ideas, helped us to decide to get the kitchen renovated. Scott returned to the office and sent the cost estimate for the work that we were looking to have done. We were quite happy with the pricing and asked when they could start. Scott said that it would be soon, and he would be in touch. Scott called and had drawings of what we talked about. We designed and redesigned and additional ideas started to fly back and forth between Scott, James, Debbie (fiancé) and myself. It wasn’t long before we had the new island, wall cabinet/coffee area, and the other components all finalized. This was the easiest design process I have ever gone through. Scott said that James and team would be down to measure and start the demolition process.
James and his team came to the house and started on the removal of the old kitchen and decided what needed to be worked on first to expedite the renovation process. A few weeks we were told that our new kitchen components were at the warehouse waiting to be installed. The new island and wall unit were installed to begin ‘our vision’. Once the components were in place, colors chosen, and all finalized, it started to turn ‘our vision’ into a reality! Scott kept us apprised of what to expected and when to expected through the renovation. James, Brian, Travis and Matt all made fast work getting the new wall unit and island and the trim and crown molding installed. A special shout out to Brian for figuring out a way to tie the crown molding from the bay window into the cabinets. Not only was a custom sized block of wood a corner piece that tied the two segments together, but it also added a unique feature that was simple yet elegant. (Thanks Brian) Before we knew it our quartz countertops were in (Thanks to Alice and Park Stone), The kitchen was really taking on ‘our vision’. Travis and Matt worked to make sure the kitchen was isolated from the rest of the house so that cabinet painting could begin. Though it looked like "Dexter" was going to come visit, Travis and Matt made sure the cabinets were ready for paint. The painting was done on the inside and outside of the existing cabinets, so well, that it looked like we had new cabinet boxes installed. The wall unit and island paint looked just as fabulous. ‘Our vision’ was nearly complete. James and team returned, and the hardware, doors and drawers finished the cabinet installation and upgrades. The backsplash was finished by Austin and Zach. They came in and installed the backsplash that tied the entire project together.
Thank you to your team and all the people at Nhance for the greatest renovation experience we could have had. The level of professionalism provided by all the team members was second to none. We love our new kitchen and feel that we made some new friends too!
When we decide to do the next project, Nhance will get the call. Please make sure Scott, James and team are available! Thanks again for your great company!!! Sincerely, Chris Ruhf and Debbie Wood
