Many cabinet painters will complete the work in your home. Some will remove the doors and complete those off site. Many Cabinet Painters will spray the doors and drawers off site but roll or brush the boxes in your home to save time. Some will complete the in home process in a day or two. We need 3-4 days to properly prep a kitchen before we spray it. We are not slow, we are meticulous. For the most part the outcome and durability is determined by the prep. Many cabinet painters will discuss the number of coats, but the cause of chipping or cracking is generally too thickly applied paint. Our proprietary cabinet paint is very thin and sprayed in several light progressive coats. Many cabinet painters do not even use a top coat exterior to protect the color layer of the process. The color is the exterior layer. The N-Hance process is much more!
We will first thoroughly clean, pH neutralize, and sand the cabinet, Next we prime the cabinets to block stains and provide a smooth, stable base for our proprietary paint to adhere to. That primer is sanded again to assure a smooth surface. We then apply the color of your choice in 4-6 passes always thinly sprayed. Finally our proprietary, UV cured clear finish called LightSpeed® for industry-leading, scratch resistance, and durability is sprayed over the new color. - The Products: Our N-Hance Tint Base is a mix of Acrylics and Polyurethanes specifically blended for cabinetry. We use either Hepa Air Scrubbing systems or exterior ventilation systems when we are sanding and spraying in the home. We use dust collection systems when we are sanding.
