Everyone else wanted to replace them for thousands of dollars more. John and his team couldn’t have been more helpful, engaged, and friendly. The process was easy. We were able to leave everything on the shelves and were without a working kitchen for only a couple of days. Most importantly, we are delighted with the end result!

Nhance transformed our 23-year old maple cabinets, giving our kitchen a gorgeous update. The team painted the cabinets, installed slow-close hinges on the doors, and subbed out our deteriorating drawers with high quality, slow close replacements (and a fabulous, built-in spice rack). They also installed new cabinet hardware, seamlessly filling in holes where the former knobs used to be. John Dearing is knowledgeable, easy going, honest and professional and his team members (we had Dave, Kyle and Ty) exhibit the same commitment to excellence that he delivers. We also replaced our Corian countertops with quartz from a contractor John recommended. We are thrilled with the transformation.

It has been our pleasure to deal with John & Kyle @ N-Hance. In our original consultation, we explained our hope to restore 30 year old kitchen maple cabinet fronts and panels to their original beauty. John told us the steps that would be necessary to do exactly what we wanted. When they returned our doors 3 days later they were once again beautiful! All work was neat and professionally performed with a minimal disruption to kitchen. Great care was taken with removal and re-installation. One good example of their dedication and work ethic took place during the reinstallation process.They noticed a small area on a cabinet front needing a little extra attention, took it back to their shop, made the correction and returned it the same day.

This is the dream team! Dave came to the house to prep and paint the cabinets the first week and the cabinet doors were installed the following week. John, Dave and Derek did an amazing job on a fairly large, custom project. We had 3 sections of cabinetry completed - Kitchen with island, built in living room shelves and a small office nook. They painted the existing cabinets, painted new doors and drawer fronts, plus did some custom work for my island. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. John was very responsive to my questions and gave me frequent updates throughout the project.

We decided to update our kitchen. A total remodel seemed to be out of the question but having the existing cabinets repainted or refaced seemed to be a good option. My wife found information about N-Hance online, and after watching the videos we gave them a call. John (the owner) visited our house to explain the process, give us possible options, and quickly provided us with an estimate. We considered checking out additional companies, but the NHance process appeared to be really good, and John was very friendly and personable. Derek was the NHance tech assigned to our house. He spent 5 days at the house. He was thorough, detail oriented, and treated our house as if it were his. (Derek has a work ethic so good that if I owned a business I'd probably try to hire him myself!) He removed drawers, hinges, glass and doors. He taped, boxed, tented, cleaned, primed, painted, sealed and did the Lightspeed process on our cabinet frames. The drawers and doors were processed at their workshop. I submitted a few photos to show how good our cabinets look. I can tell you how great I think they look, but I had an interesting conversation with another contractor this morning. His team was taking care of some sheet rock ceiling cracks, stipple and leak repair. He knew we had the cabinets repainted. I asked him if they did that kind of work and he said yes. He said they use brushes and rollers and their final product wouldn't look anywhere near as nice as what I got from NHance. That is a good testimonial. After many deciding factors, I decided to go with N-Hance and reface my 1980's cabinets with the help of Mr. Dearing who was great throughout the process. His team especially the tech who did the cleaning, sanding, priming, and painting of the base of my cabinets did a stellar job. Unlike many reviews that you may read , I would like to explain why I highly recommend NHance of Greater Baltimore County despite more problems than either owner John Dearing or I was expecting . When everything works well you just say “Great Job” and move on . We had Nhance refinish our Cherry kitchen cabinets and install new pulls and knobs . The finished product is excellent . My praise isn't for the result but for the way John handled all the land mines along the way. The specifics are not important but the honest , professional manner in which all the obstacles were overcome made what could have been a nightmare seem like a mild inconvenience . This is an impressive company.

John, the owner, is great to work with, very personable, knowledgeable, and wants to ensure his customers are satisfied. I love my cabinets, and the colors and fronts I chose came out perfectly. I was able to give his workers something more than the typical white paint job! Jzah did the prep and paint and did an outstanding job. I will love my cabinets for years to come.

N-Hance took on a difficult job of replacing several custom bookmatched cabinet doors, drawer fronts and toe kicks that had been water damaged. Other cabinets were refinished to color-match and the grain and color were very close to the original. Most wood doors and sides of cabinets had gouges, chips and stains from spills. Some gouges could not be fully restored but they did a great (and very tedious) job of camouflaging those. I would highly recommend N-Hance for restoring and refreshing cabinets. They were also very professional and pleasant to work with.

John and the guys were very professional and meticulous. The finished product was excellent. My wife loves her new kitchen and is very, very pleased with the results. I haven't found a speck of paint out of place, a bump, nor a spot that was missed. They also installed new modern hinges, handles and stops (extra). My only complaint is that the job itself took about a week longer than expected from start to finish BUT in hindsight it gave us valuable time to work on some minor cabinet repairs (e.g., molding fit, bowed shelves, a sagging wall cabinet, sink caulking). We became accustomed to it all over the years, but these issues became plainly evident once the work started and needed to be fixed. With our now beautiful cabinets, we may need to paint the kitchen and adjacent areas in the near future so that the entire area is in harmony. Nice job N-Hance!

Working with the team from NHance was wonderful. They were qualified professionals and very knowledgeable about the process of painting cabinets, taking the time to explain each step. I cannot praise their work enough. It takes time, both in getting on the schedule and in the process itself. But they do a thorough job of preparation and frame work, and the door/drawers are absolutely flawless. It is shocking to see it when it's all done. I also had them change all my door hinges to soft close. While awaiting painting, I myself converted all my drawers to soft close, which required rebuilding the drawers themselves. I didn't realize what a curveball this was for them, as they could not simply use the existing holes for alignment of the drawer facings - this required them to work all day until 8pm to get it done. The result was flawless and they didn't charge me a penny more. Professionals. Highly recommended.

Super happy about the changes to my kitchen. I had an original 38 year old kitchen from the 1980's. The cabinet boxes were still in great condition but the doors were falling off their hinges and the style was... dated. Additionally, the original hinges were an old style not made in decades which made attaching the new doors impossible. N-Hance manufactured custom wood plugs to fill in the hole left behind by removing the old hinges, filled in the gaps, sanded, primed and painted up everything so well, I can't even tell where the old broken-down hinges used to go! Really great work. With the new granite counter top installed with the new N-Hance cabinet doors and drawers... my kitchen looks great and everything works again!

We had our off white cabinets painted to an ultra white and it was such a difference! Really changed the kitchen brightness for us! John is great and his crew was friendly and respectful. They had an unfortunate incident with a work vehicle, but was able to quickly work around it to make up for it. In addition, was right before Christmas we had the work done (19th). While they were not able to install all the doors and drawer faces, they did put some back that passed quality inspection test and did not want to rush the process or install the other doors that didn’t pass. I know they made the right call. Would do the process again and was great price and quality!!!

Our cabinets were in great shape, but the hickory wood looked very dated. Having the cabinets painted, took decades off the look of our kitchen. I will add pictures in the near future. I would highly recommend N-Hance for cabinet refinishing/replacement. We were undecided between laminate and wood cabinets but after seeing the quality and value of wood cabinets, the choice was easy. John Dearing(owner) was extremely knowledgeable and explained the entire process from start to finish. He visited the job site often to ensure everything was in order. He also installed several cabinets when his staff was needed at other job sites. He also ensured that every cabinet was level and open/closed as intended. Overall happy experience

NHance was great to work with and very reasonably priced. They sanded and painted my existing cabinet boxes, and painted new doors and drawer fronts to match. The color was exactly what I asked for. They installed new, soft-close drawers and soft close hinges on all the new doors. Also retro-fitted a new lazy susan in the corner cabinet and re-designed the door on that cabinet. Mr. Dearing was always quick to respond, and answered my numerous questions. The work was done to my satisfaction, and earlier than originally scheduled! They were even able to work with a last minute schedule change on my part. I cannot recommend NHance highly enough!

Timely and excellant job they were very friendly.

Working with N-Hance was a pleasure. We were working on a kitchen refresh but did not want to replace all of our existing cabinets as they were in good condition and the cost to replace was crazy. We talked to N-Hance at the Maryland Home and Garden show and were very impressed. We send photos and worked through the quote process and the price was great so we decided to go ahead with having our cabinets painted. When it came time for the work everything went very smoothly. Pilar worked on the kitchen for a week, through removing the doors to paint offline, matching our paint color, preparation covering surfaces, cleaning sanding and multiple coats of primer and paint to finally installing the finished doors and new hinges.Everything was smooth. Every step was fully explained too us and we have been very impressed by the professionalism and attention to detail. From identifying any touch ups that would be needed to rejecting two of the doors as the finish was not perfect. All in all a great experience that I would totally recommend with no hesitation.

N-Hance was recommended to us by the company that refinished our floors. We waited 5 months to have our cabinets painted due to their availabilty; so happy we did not settle. John and Pilar were very particular and professional. My cabinets are beautiful!

We had very dark cabinets that made our kitchen much more dismal than it should be in our open floor plan with lots of windows. N-Hance painted all the cabinets, including a large island, a lovely light color with a satin finish. It not only made the kitchen much brighter and more cheerful, but to our amazement, it made the whole open area look larger! They took their time and did a painstaking job, and we are delighted with the results.

Painting of tired and worn cabinets, as part of an overall kitchen refurb. The outcome was a nice, smooth, uniform painted finish, as expected. It was my reason for using a professional service who has extensive experience re-painting/spraying kitchen cabinets and face frames. The crew was very polite, and respectful. When some repainted doors showed signs that merited a second painting, John readily took them back to the shop to square them away. The crew did a great job of containing the mess from the job in the kitchen, and when complete left it as clean as when they arrived. Fully satisfied with the quality of the paint application. John's crew did a better job spraying than I could begin to hope to do myself. Having said that, the jury is out on the effectiveness of the "lightspeed" UV cured top coat - after 3 weeks, I'm not seeing the "rock hard" finish claim in the corporate NHance literature. The durability is suspect.

We enjoyed working with John Dearing and his team of professionals as they painted our kitchen cabinets and several pieces of furniture during the renovation of our kitchen. From the time my wife and I first met John, he was easy to work with and kept in touch throughout the entire project. He explained every part of the entire process to paint our cabinets and was patient when we asked questions. Once the time arrived for our cabinets to be painted, John and his team of Aaron, Pilar and Taevon came to our house prepared and ready to go. N-Hance recently repainted our kitchen cabinets. We were impressed with their performance at every stage of the project. The entire process was explained to us very clearly in advance. A few days before startup, we received written instructions detailing what to remove from the work area and what could remain in place. The cabinet doors and drawers were removed and taken to the N-Hance workshop for repainting. While that was happening offsite, a technician repainted the cabinet frames. His preparation for this work was meticulous. As far as we can tell, not one drop of paint went astray! After all repainting was complete, the cabinets and fixtures were reassembled. N-Hance was very responsive during the entire process. When we requested a few minor adjustments after the project was completed, they returned to our home promptly to complete them. Everyone at N-Hance was a pleasure to work with and we very happy with the result. We feel as if we have new cabinets at a fraction of the cost!

I had a great experience using Nhance to replace and paint my kitchen cabinet doors. They respected my request to wear masks in my home and kept me up to date at every phase in the project. They protected all the space that did not need to be painted and cleaned up perfectly when they were done. There was a 1 day delay because some of the protective coating had to be redone at their shop...they made sure all the doors passed their standard of excellence. The whole process from the quote to scheduling to execution was a good experience and they accommodated all my requests. Would not hesitate to recommend them!

Nhance painted most of my cabinets and refinished the others. I am very pleased with how they turned out. I went from cherry to marshmallow. They old color is completely covered and they look amazing. The cherry cabinets that were refinshed look almost new. The workers were at my house for 5 days and were professional and respectful. We hired John Dearing and N-Hance of Greater Baltimore County to modernize our kitchen by refinishing the wood colored cabinets to the exact shade of white that would match the rest of the trim in our house, and it has been absolutely fantastic. Has been about 3-4 months since it was finished and the surface is holding up great despite being abused on a daily basis by a family of 7. My mother in law was so impressed she hired them to do her kitchen afterwards. We accidentally scratched one of the cabinets because a bolt was rubbing against it and I didn't notice what was causing it so I then scratched it again for a second time, and they came back out not once but twice to fix the scratch despite the fact that it was our fault and it was months after the installation, and they didn't charge us anything. Definitely recommend N-Hance! Super professional job and they go the extra mile to make their customers happy.
