omg! What a journey with my kitchen and with N-Hance. It all began when I wanted to paint my 35 year old dark cabinets white. No painter wanted the job. Then we met Bryce Taylor at his N-Hance booth at the Austin Home and Garden show. He showed us how their process was different from paint, and would never chip and was very strong and long lasting. My husband is very intuitive with first impressions, and he immediately trusted in Bryce's skill and honesty. Next his wife Denise came to look at my cabinets and we signed the contract. Simple, right?
Wrong. What started as a simple cabinet refinishing evolved into a major repair and restoration. Before the start date Bryce came over to take measurements, and as he was literally walking out the door, my husband asked him to look at the bottom corner of one of our cabinets where we'd just noticed that the trim didn't line up. That was the beginning of Bryce's going above and beyond for us as he did an extensive search of our lower cabinets and found we had a major slow water leak originating from the dishwasher. That evolved into our insurance co becoming involved and it was determined that we'd had a leak for probably a few years and didn't know it because the water had been absorbed internally in the walls, cabinets, and wood floors! The trim had come apart because the cabinet was so swollen with water. Bryce was confidant he could restore the cabinets without replacing. But as the fans began drying things out, the cabinets then shrunk and began to split. There was a very high risk that any manipulation of the fragile cabinet at that point would cause the granite countertop to break. Bryce assured us he'd been doing cabinet restoration for 30 years, and while there was no guarantees the countertop wouldn't break, he was confidant in his skill. He worked miracles for sure! He saved our granite and cabinets and rebuilt exterior walls, and replaced shelves, and completely restored the cabinets. THEN it was finally time to do the refinishing making my cabinets a beautiful cream color.
All along the way, Bryce made himself available for advice, and encouragement, especially in dealing with the insurance company. He was eager to help in any way he could. I could go on and on even more about Bryce's skill and intergrity, but I'll get to the rest of the company which is wife Denise, and their son and son in law. It is a family owned and operated business which Denise owns and Bryce is a general contractor. The "boys" were in my kitchen working for several days. They were not only very competent, but so very polite and respectful, and made it a point to talk quietly between themselves, with very low music as to not disturb me working in another room.
I cannot give this company and this family enough praise. They were such a joy to work with especially when this "simple" project became very extensive. They aren't cheap, but you most certainly get every penny's worth of the high quality workmanship they provide.
